About This Project

On Saturday, March 29th 2025, Vietnam Veterans were honored and remembered in a ceremony at Wichita’s Veterans Memorial Park.  Vietnam Veteran Bryson Allen was the keynote speaker.  The American Legion Post 4 Honor Guard provided the 3-volley rifle salute and buglers John Noonan and Don Hansen played the National Anthem, Amazing Grace and Taps.  Bryson Allen’s address included the poem “The Rock and the Nam” written by Korean War Veteran Chuck Hall.
