Veterans Day Family Celebration – Canceled

Wichita Veterans Memorial Park 339 Veterans Parkway, Wichita, KS, United States

Reason for the cancellation was a result of but not limited to the announcement by Sedgwick County Government that the “Face Covering and Social Distancing” order was extended to the third week in November and as such the program had to be cancelled.  

Pearl Harbor Day Commemoration

"Taps" will be played on the bugle and a memorial wreath will be laid at the Pearl Harbor Memorial.

Wreaths Across America

Approximately a one hour ceremony occurring simultaneously with other WAA ceremonies around the country. This local ceremony will include: Full military honors (USAF color guard, "Taps" played live, etc) 7 wreaths mounted (1 for each branch of US military and for POWs-MIAs)
