About This Project

Veterans Day was commemorated at Wichita’s Veterans Memorial Park on November 11th, 2023.  The featured speaker was Army and Air Force Veteran Greg Zuercher of the Bleckley Foundation.  Buglers played Taps and the National Anthem, as well as Amazing Grace.  The Honor Guard was from the 22nd Air Refueling Wing of McConnell Air Force Base, and the Marine Corps League rifle detail performed a 3-volley salute at the end of the program.  We were blessed with great weather and a good turnout.
