About This Project

A brief ceremony was held at Veterans Memorial Park on May 8th, 2023 to commemorate Victory in Europe Day.  On this day in 1945, hostilities in Europe ceased, ending a major chapter in World War 2.  Tom Huxtable delivered comments on the world-wide significance of this event.
