Korean War Armistice Day Commemoration

The Veterans Memorial Park Board – Wichita will hold a short ceremony to be held at Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday, July 27th at 10:00 AM to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.
July 27th is National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day, a national day of recognition to commemorate the more than 35,000 U.S. Service members who lost their lives during the Korean War. This ceremony will feature the National Anthem, Invocation, brief remarks, closing prayer and Taps played by a bugler.
The event will be located at the Kansas Korean War Veterans Memorial in Veterans Memorial Park. The public is welcome to attend but no seating will be provided.
