About This Project

On March 29th, 2024, Vietnam Veterans Day was commemorated at Veterans Memorial Park in Wichita.  US Navy Veteran Bob Fugit was the Master of Ceremonies while Army Veteran Kenny White was the Guest Speaker.  The Colors were presented by the Kansas National Guard and the American Legion Post 4 Honor Guard fired the 3-volley rifle salute.  This ceremony was in honor of all Vietnam Veterans and the families who supported them.  (Photos are courtesy of Mike Nash.)
