Veterans Day Commemoration

November 11, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The First World War ended on November 11, 1918, at 11 a.m. At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month WVMP will honor all veterans who served in the US military with a ceremony at the Flag Pavillion.

The ceremony will include:

  • Flag-lined entry sidewalk to the Park’s Flag Pavilion
  • Introduction and opening remarks
  • Chaplain invocation
  • Speaker (TBD)
  • Color guard presentation of The Colors
  • 21-gun salute
  • “Taps” played on the trumpet
