About This Project

A short commemoration service was held in WVMP to mark V-J Day (also known as Victory over Japan Day). This is the day on which Imperial Japan surrendered ending World War II,

A memorial wreath was laid at the Park’s World War Two Memorial followed by the playing of “Taps” by a trumpeter.
